The first night in Nairobi will be spent at the Eka Hotel, then the bush and game adventure will commence on the second day. After breakfast, you will be picked up by our driver guide for transfer to Wilson Airport where you will board a charter flight to Amboseli National Park.

Amboseli National park; referred to as ‘HOME OF THE AFRICAN ELEPHANT’, is crowned by Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. Amboseli is a Maasai word meaning ‘Salty dust’ and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. At Amboseli, one can explore different habitats including but not limited to the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with Sulphur springs, the savannah, and woodlands. There is an observation hill that allows the view of the whole park, swamp, and elephants. The swamp below the observation hill is a host to many Elephants, hippos, waterfowls: like pelicans and Flamingos, Egyptian goose, etc. Other game present includes Leopards, cheaters, wild dog, giraffe, crocodiles, Mongoose, Hyrax, dik-dik, lesser kudu and nocturnal porcupines. The park has recorded over 600 species of birdlife. Amboseli Bush Camp/Zebra Plains will be the host of all these adventures/experiences.

On day three, we shall depart early from Amboseli after an early Breakfast. Onboard a charter flight, we shall fly through the Kenyan skies to Naivasha. Check-in at Mundui House, an exquisite holiday house nestled in the volcanic hills and open grasslands on the edge of Lake Naivasha and shores of Lake Oloidein, and within the animals’ rights reserve (ARA) private wildlife sanctuary. Oldest house around Lake Naivasha yet one of the most beautiful with a bit of luxury offering privacy that one could require. It has hosted prominent people including Facebook Founder-Mark Zuckerberg, Ernest Hemmingway, Winston Churchill among others. You shall enjoy game drives in a private sanctuary, guided nature walks, boat rides, a visit to the animal rehabilitation center, bird-watching among other activities.

The peak of the trip shall start on day four. You will enjoy your breakfast, thereafter check out of Mundui House, be transferred to the airstrip where you will board a charter flight to Maasai Mara National Reserve. Zebra Plains Lodge shall be your host for the three nights that you will be here.

Maasai Mara National Reserve is situated in the south-west of Kenyan Rift valley and is one of Africa’s greatest wildlife reserves. Together with Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, it forms Africa’s most diverse, incredible and most spectacular eco-system and possibly the world’s top safari big game viewing eco-system. It is renowned for its exceptional wildlife across the vast plains.

It is favored with the four terrains; Ngama Hills, eastward with sand soil & leafy bushes favoring black rhinos, Oloololo Escarpment, forming the western boundary rising to magnificent plateaus, Mara Triangle, bordering Mara river with lush grasslands & woodlands for masses of game and wildebeest, and Central Plains, the largest part of the reserve, scattered bushes, boulders, rolling grasslands which attracts the plains game. It is here that the marvelous migration takes place annually that was listed among the seven natural wonders of the world. Most animals sighted in this migrations are about 1.5 million wildebeests, 0.5 million Thomson Gazelles, 0.2 million Zebras, 97,000 Topis and about 18,000 Elands. The migration is readily sighted on every visit but we cannot guarantee to sight the spectacular Mara river crossing because that is a natural occurrence unknown when and at what part of the river it will happen.

With morning and afternoon game drives, we are sure that you will have satisfied your quest to experience all these adventures as far as the trip is concerned. The stay here will be blended with guided bush walks, a sun-downer, a cultural village visit to learn a little about the Maasai community

On day Six, we will depart Mara for Nairobi on a charter flight, where you shall spend a night at Eka Hotel, relaxing and reminiscing about the bush adventure as you prepare for your international flight on the following day.
