Elephant Safari Kenya - 5 Days

Elephant safari Kenya is an elephant lovers road safari to Tsavo and Amboseli National parks. The two parks are renowned for being home to the biggest and largest herds of elephants in Africa. The highlight of this safari is the RED Elephant of Tsavo, and a possible sighting of some of the last big tuskers in Kenya.

ELPHANT SAFARI KENYA ITINERARY

Day 1
NAIROBI-TSAVO EAST

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you shall be picked by our driver guide who will take you to Tsavo East National park and check in Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge. The drive is approximately 5 hrs. You shall arrive at the lodge in time for lunch, relax and late afternoon game drive. Back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2
TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast is served you shall embark on the game drives which shall be combined with Mzima springs visit and Chaimu Crater. All meals time shall be observed. Overnight at the lodge.

Day 3
TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK -AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast is served you check out of the lodge and have a game drive as you exit Tsavo National park to Amboseli National Park. The drive is approximately 3 hrs drive, arrive there in time for Lunch, relax as you enjoy the views of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Later in the afternoon you shall depart for the game drive in Amboseli National park, then back to the Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4
AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Breakfast shall be served early, embark on the game drive, back to the camp for lunch, late afternoon has a cultural visit, then a sundowner, dinner at the camp and overnight.

Day 5
AMBOSELI NATIONAL TO JKIA

After breakfast is served, you shall check out of the lodge and embark on the drive back to Nairobi. Depending on your international flight, you shall make stopovers at souvenir shops for shopping and lunch before being dropped at Jomo Kenyatta International airport to catch your flight.
End of the trip.

Tsavo elephants are red in color due to constant dust bathing in the parks red volcanic soil. Staying at Kilaguni Serena Safari lodge gives one an opportunity to explore these red elephants as well as the whole family of the big 5, visiting Mzima springs where animals gather to quench their thirst and Chaimu Crater as an observation point of the vast Yatta plateau where Tsavo National sits on.

Upwards to Tortilis camp in Amboseli national park for magnificent views of the tallest free standing mountain in the world, Mt. Kilimanjaro, it is in Tanzania but best views from Kenyan side, Amboseli national park. Witness the largest herds of Elephants gathering at the marshy pool taking a bath as well a balloon ride for better game viewing.
